My inner holy place within is quiet and spacious; expansive. It is not silent totally. I am placing gentle attention on turning down “radio garbage”! It’s a process. So happy to be part of this group!
Quiet, spacious, expansive - that sounds so refreshing. Interesting that it's not totally silent. My inner place isn't totally silent either. When I did the practice I actually imagined it as an underwater place with lots of gently swaying seaweed! I love the feel of this group already! Thank you for joining us, Miriam.
I used to have endless chatter, most of it negative now it's so quiet I often wonder if my brains fell out all together. But nope it's there, just kinder and quieter and more spacious. That's what my holy inner chapel is like. Kind, quiet, spacious. I like to visit frequently!
Kinder, quieter and more spacious - what a gift to know this peace within. And oh how I'd like my own inner life to be so quiet I wonder if my brain's fallen out!! Thank you for giving me hope that it's possible! I'll keep visiting own holy inner chapel (love that description).
We came across the phrase “radio garbage” in Taize in a talk from one of the brothers last summer. One has to turn it off or down and then maybe possible to find or turn to - that Holy place…. Such a great phrase x

Radio garbage! Love that. I'm familiar with that in my own inner life! x
Turning inward towards the Holy place. I love this, and will hold on to it today. Thanks Jen.
I'm glad :) I find the phrase "holy place within" so helpful! It makes me want to return there.
Feeling blessed!
